This review is long overdue but I wanted to wait until I could post some of the photos from our 12/2023 wedding and we just got them back! Dylan was SO responsive and patient and just really friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. His prices were very fair compared to competitors and Dylan and his whole team were professional and just true experts at their craft on the day of. Everyone was WOWed by the lights, including us, and let me tell you - if you're on the fence about lighting - it makes SUCH a difference in terms of ambience and in the photos. We are so happy we went with The Wedding Lighting Company and so grateful to them. THANK YOU DYLAN AND TEAM!!
Wedding lighting company did uplighting for our indoor reception space and beautiful bistro string lights and chandeliers over our ceremony. They were very quick and responsive to our emails, and made sure we understood every part of the process.
On the day of our event, the onsite tech we hired through them was polite and helped with an unexpected change we requested to the decor.

I worked with Dylan and the Wedding Lighting Co for my June Corporate event. We had a last minute request and he was easy and flexible to work with and was cost effective and within our budget range. The lighting definitely changed the vibe of our event in the best possible way. We had zig zag string lighting across a downtown garden event space at Linden Row where rhey are a preferred vendor plus purple uplighting to match our event colors. It gave an extra touch that would have been missed without it. 10/10 recommend.
They did the lighting for our annual fundraiser, and it was exceptional! The string lights were magical, and Dylan and his team were very meticulous in the set-up and take-down.

Dylan with the Wedding lighting Co was phenomenal to work with! He was very responsive and reliable. I hired his company to change the drape color to white in the ballroom at Dover Hall for my wedding. He was also responsible for the uplighting during the reception (unfortunately I don't have any photos of how amazing it turned out). He helped my vision come to life! I would highly recommend him!
I highly recommend The Wedding Lighting Company for any event! Dylan was super responsive with messages all throughout the process. My students wanted the prom to look exactly like the end of the movie Tangled with all of the lanterns above them, and it looked exactly like that. They definitely deliver!

My wife and I were married at the historic Virginia House in Richmond, VA. The reception was outdoors under a clear tent, and the outdoor lighting at the old estate is minimal because of the time period it was built. The Wedding Lighting Co. did a wonderful job of facilitating the lighting we needed for our event while maintaining the integrity of the classic aesthetic of our venue. Their team was professional, efficient, and delivered exactly what was promised.
